I am the Catalan Lecturer of Institut Ramon Llull in the Department of Spanish and Portuguese at Georgetown University, where I teach Translation Studies as well as Spanish and Catalan language and culture.

I earned myPhD in Translation, Languages and Literatures at the University of Vic (Catalonia, Spain, 2013). My research is focused on the impact of the Francoist dictatorship over translations into Catalan in the 1960s, as well as literary reception in Spain. I have published a dozen of book chapters and articles about these topics.
